  • THE CLUBHOUSE KITCHEN IS BEING REMODELED

  • MAY 1 AT 10:15 AM IN THE CLUBHOUSE THERE WILL BE A FREE HEIMLICH MANUVER CLASS BEING HELD

  • RESIDENTS ARE ASKING THAT A POOL TABLE BE INSTALLED IN THE CARD ROOM

The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM

Present: Lorraine Allen, Kathy Chichester, Harvey Feldman, Daniel Kiminyo, Sharon Keenan, Richard Hamer, Susan Shepherdson and Kris Elliott from Campbell Property Management

The meeting minutes of April 9, 2018 were waived, motion to accept by Lorraine and seconded by Kathy.

REPORTS:

Presidents Report:

POA Lorraine

  • Reminder this is mating season for alligators, snakes and birds. Use common sense stay away from the animals, don’t call police.

  • Flag poles to be installed at the clubhouse.

  • The kitchen update in the clubhouse is on hold, pending proof of license for the contractor.

  • Security cameras are installed around the parking lot.

  • The POA is in the process of updating renting the clubhouse, price and terms may change.

Vice President Report:

Kathy POA

  • South Palm Beach County is number one in scams and frauds. Get a credit report annually

  • There is a group of volunteers against scams, VAST

  • Comcast charges will increase by $8 in 2020.

Kathy resales:

  • 5634 closed 3 bd

  • 5713 closed 3 bd

  • 5655 will probably rent

  • Will visit new owners

Greetings Landings Residents:

 

The next Landings Board of Directors meeting is scheduled for the second Tuesday September at 7 P. M... Workshops will be posted at either end of the entrances, residents are always welcome. The Board will continue to do the business of maintenance and upgrades through the summer and will send notices via email.

Have a safe and fun summer!

Just a reminder not to use your carports for storage nor should we use a barbeque grill under the carport.  The atrium outside the kitchen of the two bedrooms and the back patio outside the three bedroom kitchen is a good place to use your barbeque, please put the cover on when not in use. Trash receptacles and recycle bins are fine. Working bicycles are acceptable as well.

September 10, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM

Present: Lorraine Allen, Daniel Kiminyo, Sharon Keenan, Harvey Feldman, Richard Hamer, Susan Shepherdson and Kris Elliott, Property Manager, Campbell Property Management

Presidents introduction and comments to the residents, spoke briefly about the painting of the walkways and driveways. The community looks nice we are happy with RCI painting.

Each Board member introduced themselves and their tasks for the community.

REPORTS:

Presidents Report:

  • Hurricane preparedness a reminder for residents to put away or have someone put away any and all projectile objects, to include lawn furniture, yard umbrellas and planters etc.

  • 65 gallon trash containers will be dropped off for immediate use, the old trash recepticles can be put out with the trash. All trash goes into the 65 gallon containers. Large items are limited to 3 you can put together with your trash bin for pick up. Recycle bins stay the same.

  • Housekeeping notes: please clean up your driveways and atriums even when you are away. If you are snowbirds or will be gone for a period of time have someone clean up around your Villa.

  • Reminder anyone living in your home must have a background check and fill out the same registration paperwork as owners do. This does not include visiting relatives or friends on short vacations.

  • Parking: Be mindful of designated parking spots, your driveways and the designated spots in your berm. Do not block mail boxes or neighbors driveways. Don’t park on the side of the berm or on the grass.

  • Iguanas are everywhere so be safe if we become overrun we can address a solution to have someone come in and take them out.

  • Five roof repairs during the summer

  • Budget is proposed and may increase see notes from Kris through email before the budget workshop October 16, 2019.

There is a workshop scheduled 10/16/2019 in the card room at 9:30am

There will be NO HOA meeting October 9, 2019 due to religious meeting.

Reminder not to fall for door to door scams, soliciting is not allowed.
